Sadie May Studio is the independent, one-woman studio of London based Designer and Illustrator, Rebecca Sadie May. Specialising in branding, illustration, creative direction, print, environmental design and typography, Rebecca has a diverse range of experience, spanning over 15 years in the creative industry.

Rebecca has worked with a range of clients including the V&A, Friends of the Earth and the Francis Crick Institute and for agencies such as IDEO, M&C Saatchi and Smith Dawson. She is particularly interested in using visual communication for projects with a focus on positive social impact.

Before setting up independently, Rebecca headed up the studio at the Design Council as well as working for agencies prior to that including Fallon and Why Not Associates and for clients such as Tim Key, The Writer, NHS and the Crafts Council. In 2010 she published her first book, entitled Portmanteau A-Z.

She graduated with a BA in Typography from LCC (London College of Communication) in 2004. Rebecca has also lectured at LCC and volunteers as a Mentor for Kerning the Gap, a programme addressing equality in the design industry.
